Companies) takes place in Berlin in just one week's time. There is a mood of
anticipation among delegates, who have continued to tell us why they are heading
to the German capital. Meanwhile, another language industry thought-leader, who

PSBT is the associaton partner of the Translating Europe Workshop - “Forum on New Translation Technologies: How to Link Productivity and Quality”. The conference is being organised by the Institute for Applied Linguistics and the Directorate General for Translation Field Office in Poland on 12 December 2016 at the European Commission Representation in Poland (No. 14/16A, Jasna St., Warsaw) and it is devoted to the subject of New Translation Technologies.

The conference was organised by the Institute for Applied Linguistics and the Directorate General for Translation Field Office in Poland on 06.06.2016 at the European Commission  Representation in Poland (No. 14/16A, Jasna St., Warsaw) and it addressed the issue of quality in legal translation from the research, market and training perspectives.
The President of PSBT and MAart Agency Ltd., Monika Popiolek, was one of the speakers invited and she presented on “ISO Standards Framework for QA in Legal Translation”.

ISO 17100 - Translation Services standard published in Polish on 10.11.2015
At the initiative of the Polish Association of Translation Companies (PSBT), the ISO 17100 Translation Services standard was translated and published in Polish by the Polish Standardization Committee (PKN) on 10.11.2015 - as PN-EN ISO 17100:2015. The fourth TM-Europe 2011 International Conference was held in Warsaw, Poland from September 28 to September 30, 2011. The conference traditionally focuses on management issues for the translation and localisation industry and this year’s theme was “Process Management and Standards for the Translation and Localisation Industry”. The conference featured presentations and panel discussions on project management, business development and process optimization, technology and other translation management topics.

The Polish Association of Translation Companies celebrated its 10th anniversary with a Gala Party on the 28th of September 2011 at the Harenda Club in Warsaw. It was attended not only by PSBT members and partners but also representatives of other industry associations, and in particular STO, TEPIS and NOT, media and many PSBT friends from all over the world.
